The Apparition Award To Be Announced This Weekend!

and the emails keep piling in. thank you.

why we will never live elsewhere - i think

You are made up of 2 thirds water. You are a wet one. Aren't You?

To stay healthy, you need to continually replenish your fluid supply. Experts recommend drinking approximately two quarts (64 ounces or about eight glasses) of water each day. Of course, if you live in an extremely hot or cold area — or if you exercise a lot — you may need to drink a gallon or more of water every day.

- wonderopolis.org

Current World Population - 7.2 Billion

1 Gallon Water x 7.2 Billion Folks = 7.2 Billion Gallons Water Per Day.

365 days = 1 Year.

7.2 billion Gallons of Water x 365 Days =
Two Trillion Six Hundred Twenty-Eight Billion Gallons Of Water Per Year.

that's all of us folks for one year. now what about a shower, a shave, the lawn, the pool and your water bed?

um,,, maybe we should concentrate on that blue planet. the third one from the sun. maybe we should stop pretending we could be somewhere else out there. face it. we are on our own, drinking lots of water, on our own little planet.

I know what you're thinking. 'maybe just a few of us can live elsewhere' - You know, that's what I was thinking too.

    "Motion Picture Soundtrack"

    Red wine and sleeping pills
Help me get back to your arms
    Cheap sex and sad films
Help me get where I belong

    I think you're crazy, maybe
    I think you're crazy, maybe

    Stop sending letters
    Letters always get burned
    It's not like the movies
They fed us on little white lies

    I think you're crazy, maybe
    I think you're crazy, maybe

I will see you in the next life

[Early version has a second verse:]

    Beautiful angel
    Pulled apart at birth
    Limbless and helpless
    I can't even recognize you

    I think you're crazy, maybe [x6]

I will see you in the next life

allow the two of you to become one

“With every day, and from both sides of my intelligence, the moral and the intellectual, I thus drew steadily nearer to the truth, by whose partial discovery I have been doomed to such a dreadful shipwreck: that man is not truly one, but truly two.”

    Sophia and the Sorrel

    Breed Characteristics

The American Quarter Horse has unique features that make it specially suited for a variety of tasks.

Features of the American Quarter HorseJust what is an American Quarter Horse?

If you have ever seen a horse in one of rodeo's timed events, been along for work on a ranch or watched a Western on the big or small screen, 9 times out of 10 you have witnessed an American Quarter Horse.

These heavily muscled, compact horses could run a short distance over a straightaway faster than any other horse, and the fastest were called Celebrated American Quarter Running Horses by English colonists in the 1600s.  In 1940 a registry was formed to preserve the breed which officially became the American Quarter Horse.

There are 17 recognized colors of American Quarter Horses including the most prominent color of sorrel (brownish red). The others are bay, black, brown, buckskin, chestnut, dun, red dun, gray, grullo, palomino, red roan, blue roan, bay roan, perlino and cremello.

It's interesting to note that the quarter-mile is still the most popular distance for racing American Quarter Horses, and the best blaze the 440 yards in 21 seconds or less.

    a puzzling poem

    What do you see
    In Love?

    Morning
    -
    Mourning

    When - About
    Waking up
    In days ahead

    What is it
    In Loves eyes?

    A Speck
    -
    A Log

    When - About
    Hope went silent
    Falling in the night

    A young girl
    Who could
    Have been

    Named Hate?

    Flike and Flow

    TEMPERAMENT:
He makes an excellent guard, companion, and house dog and is good with children. His ease of training and innate instincts makes the Rats unsurpassed hunters and ratters. They don't really mind getting their feet wet and many enjoy swimming, hiking very content playing with their own toys. He hides nothing being confident around other animals large and small. The Rat is a dog that commands respect but absolutely adores his family. He is eager to please bonding, sociable and sensitive. It is never a yippee type of dog but quick to sound an alarm when he senses something new. They are enthusiast upon his peoples arrival showering them with kisses, affection, love and loyalty. He is basically pleasant and easy to get along with. At ease at home relaxing with his master doing well with the family, hardy enough to with stand a child's roughest play. Though their tendencies are not to bark, when alerted or treeing they voice with a coarse bark. Their average lifespan is 15 to 16 years. The most solid attribute  is an undying will to please their master and a need to be near him. With this strong willingness to please, the teaching of aggressive behavior should be avoided at all costs.
